Space to spread out, make some noise, plenty of room to park cars and celebrate as a group.
Humprey Head is a remote outdoor centre with more than 30 beds. During the week it works with kids, but at the weekend it can be yours.
For larger groups it may be your only option short of a full blown hotel, making it very cost effective for larger groups.
Humphrey Head is discounted for groups who buy packages with adventure activities, as the provider supports the centre.
Its the only provider who will let you bring your own beer and have a barbeque we know of.
Why its great:
Private accomodation - no sharing
Barbeque on arrival day included in packages.
Lots of parking
Train station 10 minutes drive away (Cark and Cartmel)
In easy walking distance of the Kendal Pubs (not a clubbing town). The large hostel accepts Stag Groups, but there will be other users in the building. There are several options in town to get evening meals.
Prices are per person, which means small groups (of 8 or less) can find it less expensive.
Don't be put off because its called a Hostel, it is much more pleasant than many pubs I’ve stayed in
Why it’s great:
Easy to get to by public transport
Per bed pricing is ideal for small groups
